Letting prayer in your life is like letting fresh air in your house. Prayer is basically communicating with God, the creator. Many find praying about as easy as breathing. Others, however, may find it more difficult because they are intimidated or because they have never gotten into the habit of praying.
Everyone needs to pray. Even Jesus needed to pray and have fellowship with God; how much more would mankind as mere human beings need it? Jesus would oftentimes throughout the day go off alone and pray. It is clear in the Gospels that Jesus would regularly wake early and go pray and commune with God. Everyone should follow his example and make it point to steal away for a period of time each day to spend time praying and reading the Bible. Yes, it might be a challenge to find time to pray, but the benefits of doing so far outweigh any sacrifice you may need to make.
When you do pray, it is best to be sincere and honest with God. After all, He knows what is going on in your life and your heart better than you do. God is yearning to help you with any problems you may be having and rejoice with you when you are happy and excited about something. You may want to write down some of the things that are on your heart and keep sort of a journal of your prayer requests. That way, when your prayers are answered, your faith will get stronger.
