Christians have a saying, if the subject is enough to be thought about or talked about then it is enough to be prayed about. Many people know they should pray but many confess they don’t know how. This is not a difficult process to learn. Prayer is direct communication with God and sometimes when you feel that little tug at your heart you need to be still and see if someone is trying to reach you. Not only do we communicate with him but he communicates with us also.
Set aside a time and place where you can be alone to concentrate. Thank God for the blessings he has already given to you and then pray for other people that you think needs help, more than you can give. People are going through an awful lot these days, and ask for his help. Most importantly, talk to God, and listen for a response from him. He will tell you what you need to know. Also be confident and go ahead and thank him for the blessings you know he will continue to give you.
Christians also believe in a prayer of Salvation. When you first come to know God as your Savior you ask him to come into your life, you have faith and you let him know that you believe his word to be true. Christians acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God and that hr died on the cross to save us from sin. We confess our sins of the past so we can go on to live a life of meaning and importance. We want him to come into our hearts and begin living through us.
