Prayer is loving conversations with God, an uplifting of mind and spirit, an awareness of an inner self and speaking thoughts of adoration, contrition and thanksgiving. All of these aspects of prayer lead to a willing humbleness to pay attention to God on a daily basis. In the process, you will stylize your own habits in your prayer life. There are many ways to speak with God. Everyone chooses their own route and God is open to all.
Mankind’s sufficiency emanates from God. A belief in Him urges them to seek Him, to find out what He wants for them. It is freedom, not slavery. Once you have studied Him, you will see that He is interested in people’s lives and their own good. In fact, really leaning on the Lord eliminates stress. Stress can come with insecurity and uncertainty. Communing with the Father and reading the bible is like reading tomorrow's newspaper about the future of the world. The answers are in the bible.
The bible is God's letter to His people and those dedicated to studying the Word. At first the bible will appear foreign, but eventually lessons will fall into place. A very informative tool along with your bible is a Strong's Concordance, with every word from the old and new testaments that shows the Hebrew and Greek meanings. Ask God to help you understand and He will answer your request. In summary, let go and let God work in your life through prayer and study.
