Learning To Pray

We all want our prayer answered. but very few of us really know how to pray. Many of us pray and hope for an answer, but God meant for us to pray and get answers. If you have studied the Word, you will know that God has instructed us on how to pray. The Bible says that we are to pray in faith believing that our prayers will be answered. We must be confident in coming to the Lord with our prayers. It is important to begin a relationship with God to begin to learn how to pray. If you don't have a personal relationship with God, a pastor in your area can help you with that.

Prayer is communication with God, we are actually coming into his presence to ask things from him. According to Matthew 6 9-13, Jesus instructed us how to pray. Our prayers should be addressed to Our Father in Heaven. The name "father" is a new way to address God. How sweet it is to be able to come to God in prayer and call him "our Father". Before you begin to pray, it is vital that you believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God. When you pray end your prayers with in the name of Jesus Christ and ask these things.

Praying at home should be kept private. Prayer works best if you are alone with God when you pray. Keep distractions to a minimum and find a place where you feel comfortable and at peace. When you pray privately, God will reward you openly. There are many websites available on how to teach you to pray.
